Ahhhh, summer time, the solstice is here…...

Summer + Rain = Jungle

Normally I would be complaining about a rain on my day off work....however...we need rain so badly.  We've had a nice steady rain all night and it is still going.  The back garden is getting a jungle look to it.

Mother Natures Perfume Factory

I got home last night from a mini vacation with my Grandaughter and the front yard was an explosion of mauve and beautiful fragrance.  There are two Miss Kim Lilacs planted at the front of the house and while I was  away they came into bloom.  This photo doesn't do justice to the fragrance!

 It hasn't really been a bad winter, comparatively mild in fact, however I must have been feeling a bit of the winter blahs when I decided to paint the bathroom.  One thing for sure, this colour makes me smile!

I think this collage work I did some time ago made my colour choice for me…..
